The ATO opened applications for early release of superannuation for those severely impacted by COVID-19. This was temporarily paused due to hackers illegally using people’s details to scam the program. The program is set to release up to $10,000 in super in the current 2020 financial year and up to $10,000 in super in the 2021 financial year.
