It's important for us to mention that if you do not have a Will in place, then in the event of your death your assets may not be distributed to your loved ones as you would want them to.
Do you have a tax effective Will?
If you don’t have a Will, then State law will determine who gets your wealth and this may be contrary to your desires. Even if you do have a Will, it is prudent to routinely review it every four years or so (or when your circumstances materially change) to ensure it achieves your desires.
One of the roles we fulfil as your accountant is advice and assistance with preparation of your estate plan so that your loved ones are taken care of in the way you want after your death, and not left with uncertainty and unnecessary taxes.
If you need help with arranging a tax effective estate plan, then please let us know.
