Julian joined Munro’s as the Practice Manager in 2005 and enjoys contributing to the firm’s on-going success. He regards service to the firm, as well as to its clients and staff as paramount and he delivers that in a principled, easy-going manner.

In a career commencing some 50 years ago, Julian has worked in Australia, the United Kingdom, India and several African countries. He was originally professionally qualified in both law and accountancy and has performed a wide range of roles, including working on a diplomatic desk; as a public prosecutor; as an auditor; general manager; strategic management consultant working in both public and private sectors; in legal and regulatory compliance; as well as in financial management and administration. Part of his career was spent working for two of the “big four” accountancy firms, as well as an international investment bank.

On the recreation front, Julian spent many years participating in endurance sports including competitive road cycling, road running including standard marathons, triathlon, rowing, mountain biking and in more recent years, ballroom dancing. These days, Julian spends time in his mixed native-exotic garden, working with nature to create a shady and peaceful space.
