Recognising a potential conflict of interest, they spearheaded the creation of an independent accounting firm. Thus, on 1 July 1973, Munro’s was born, marking the start of an extraordinary journey.

Congratulations Munro’s on 50 years. I think my father must have been one of Donald’s and Barry’s earliest clients. Their names were ever present around the breakfast table when I was hopping on a school bus. I reflected with Christine a few months ago that the most important people in life were my family, my accountants, my GP and and Gough Whitlam. In no particluar order. (Why Gough Whitlam?
