Rachael Ghazouly

Rachael joined Munro’s as a graduate tax accountant working in Simon Strawbridge’s team in 2020 after working for one year at a boutique private accounting firm in Claremont.

Rachael completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting in 2019 where she graduated as a member of the Vice-Chancellor’s List awarded to students who rank in the top 1% of all disciplines at the University. She also did a year of interstate study in Melbourne where she continued her studies in Accounting while also expanding to study her interest in Psychology at Monash University.

Rachael became a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2023 and while completing her studies was awarded with a Candidate of the Module Award for being the top candidate in Western Australia for Taxation.

During her time at Munro’s, she has assisted client’s from various industry backgrounds with a range of accounting softwares (i.e. MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks, Phoenix, Agrimaster, etc). She has also developed a broad range of technical capabilities, gaining knowledge in areas such as Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST) Compliance, Capital Gains Tax and Tax Planning.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending her weekends with her friends and family. Her hobbies include travelling, staying active and going to the beach.
